2018, a new year equals new adventures and new plans for traveling to neat destinations throughout the world! I am not really a calendar looking guy, but it is cool to reflect on all the awesome places me and Sam visited in 2017. Which are the top 5 hotspots we enjoyed the most? Check it out below! In 2017 we visited 12 countries in total. From a bad ass trip through western Europe to the great walls of China. These 5 hotspots are our favorites and tips for you to visit in 2018 (in no particular order)! Spoiler picture 🙂 :
Cox’s Bazar, the longest sea beach in the world. That is quite a statement is it not? But, it is a true one! The sea beach of Cox’s Bazar is long, an astonishing 155 kilometres long! And all those kilometres are unbroken, so 155 kilometres of sand, rocks and sea. Cox’s Bazar is one of the most visited touristic places in Bangladesh.
On the other hand we have St. Martin’s, the most southern point of Bangladesh. St. Martin’s is a small Island (only 8 square kilometres!) about 9 kilometres from the peninsula of Cox’s Bazar – Teknaf. It is also near the Myanmar border, located in the bay of Bengal. The Island is famous for being the only coral island of Bangladesh.
In this blog I will take you on a tour of our 3 nights stay at Cox’s Bazar, including a day trip to St. Martin’s.
The title of this blog is named “Heaven on Earth”, a pretty bold statement right? Well, in the Bandarban you are literally above the clouds in the highest point of Bangladesh, giving you the feeling as if you left the planet and got a VIP ticket into heaven! Let me educate you real quick first about the Bandarban before I tell you a little bit more about all the amazing stuff you can find here.
Hey guys!
We just published a new article on Track that Travel about our visit of the Panda research center in Chengdu, China.
Visiting this place was amazing! Read all about it NOW :)!
Bruges (or in Dutch: Brugge) is the biggest city and the capital of the Belgium province of West-Vlaanderen. It is famously known for its historical city centre dating back to the medieval ages, which is an UNESCO World Heritage site. We visited Bruges in December, hence forth the winter edition :)! Bruges is the most recommended Belgium city by us, and we will let you know why you have to visit this amazing place while you are in the area.
Porto is a vibrant city in which will mesmerize you with its charm and lovely people. We visited Porto in the first week of September and enjoyed it a lot! In this guideline we will take you on a tour through the second largest city in Portugal. There is a reason why Portugal is a must visit in 2018!
The famous Terracotta Army was one of my most anticipated visits while being in China. Over 8,000 soldiers and 130 chariots with almost 700 horses made from Terracotta to protect the first Emperor of China after his death? Oh yeah I want to see that phenomenon!
Once upon a time in China, (220-200 BC), the Qin Dynasty was established in China unifying the country. Qin Shi Huang was crowded the first Emperor of China. He is also famous for making a start to the nowadays famous Great Wall of China.
The Giant Buddha from Leshan is a must visit if you are in the area. The 71 meters high sculpture was built in the 8th century during the Tang-Dynasty. This impressive sight takes some effort to get there, but it is totally worth the trip! In this blog Uncensored Travel will tell you what you can encounter while visiting.
This week we concluded our China trip for 2 days in Shanghai. In this blog I will describe which three activities are a must do while you are visiting the city. Shanghai is the biggest city in the country, so of course there is a lot to see and do in the city. We choose to do three main spots which we can vouch for. There are more than 20 million people living in the city, but unlike the more rural areas people do not stare at you as a foreigner. The city really has that international charm, but even in Shanghai English is hard to use as a language!
