Oh man, what did I love driving over this impressive bridge! Pont de Normandie (or in English Normandy Bridge) is an impressive bridge built over the Seine river. What makes the view special is that the Seine river meets the ocean, giving a spectacular sight we also encountered in the Amazon river where 2 different types of water meet! With a total length of 2,143.21 meters this bridge can be viewed from far!

We crossed it by car to go to Deauville from Le Havre (toll is € 5,50 one way in August 2020), but did you know you can cross this bridge for free as a pedestrian or cyclist? See below some pictures of this amazing sight. Be sure to include a trip through this bridge when you are in the Normandy area :-)!
