To make my website more interesting I decided to post tips for all of you while abroad. Every week I will post a new tip to make life easier on the road!

Tip #1: Buy a local SIM-card

Why?
Buying a local SIM-card can be of great assistance in your trip, even if you go for a few days somewhere. What are the pluspoints?

You can use Google maps on your smartphone to look up all the places you want to visit;
You can make calls with locals, like your couchsurfing host or a local friend;
You can use the internet to check out what kind of special events you could attent on your location;
Sharing your pictures with your hometown friends and travel buddies on the world wide web can be done anywhere, anytime!
