Located just outside Hannover, Dinopark Münchehagen is Germany’s largest dinosaur-themed scientific adventure & theme park, offering a 2.5 km circular trail populated with over 300 life‑size dinosaur and prehistoric models, guiding you through multiple geological eras(from Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous till date) complete with detailed info in German and English. We took our 4-Year-Old to this park and as a little dino-enthusiast, he was hooked. Trust me, it took a lot of effort to make him get in the car and leave this park.

Walk Through Time

The path transports you from the dawn of life (Paleozoic) through the Cenozoic. Each specimen comes with detailed information about what is scientifically known in both German and English.

You will see early reptiles, a spectacular Seismosaurus (45 m long!), iconic sauropods, Stegosaurus and lots of fan favorite carnivores.

The walk is nice, especially on a sunny day like we had, with lots of green nature and pleasant stops for the little one to climb around.
